Although Patrice grew up in New Zealand, much of her career has been in the United States where she’s had the incredible opportunity to work with some of the worlds leading theatre professionals.
Patrice studied drama at Newcastle University in Australia before heading to the renowned Carnegie Melon University in the U.S., where she majored in Acting. Patrice has an Masters in Fine Arts in Classical Theatre from the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware and has spent 10 years performing Off-Broadway and in Regional Theatre throughout the U.S.
Most recently Patrice worked as a company member of the Irondale Theatre in New York.
Since returning to New Zealand, Patrice has worked as a freelance Director and Drama Tutor for several other large tertiary providers.
Patrice’s qualifications and experience speak for themselves. We are honoured to have a Drama tutor of Patrice’s calibre teaching at EXCEL.

Elizabeth was born and raised in the South Island and has had a passion for acting and drama ever since she was very little. She took every opportunity she could to be on stage.
From an early age, Elizabeth studied speech and drama, singing, dance and piano. After high school, Elizabeth moved to Auckland and came to EXCEL to further her training as a drama major. Her raw talent and love for the stage and acting earned her the EXCEL School of Performing Arts Drama Cup. After sucessfully graduating the course in 2006, Elizabeth was then chosen to be a part of the EXCEL tour team in 2007. Touring the country has given her a chance not only to grow personally, but also hone in her acting skills. Elizabeth has been involved in some great local productions which showcased her outstanding acting and performing skills. Her involvement extends to physical theatre such as "Beyond the Blue", comedic, "Charlie's Aunt", and dramatic, "Joan of Arc".
Currently, Elizabeth is teaching students from the age of four both dance and drama. She also tutors Drama Major students here at EXCEL.
