A comprehensive course in theatre drama that is performance based, rather than theory orientated.
Course Components Include:
- movement
- characterisation
- voice production
- audition techniques
- script analysis
- production roles and processes
- improvisation
- rehearsal techniques
- knowledge of theatre space and terminology
- the application of these skills to the performance of a role on a major production
A wide range of scripts will be studied, to encourage flexibility and the use of a range of styles and techniques.
Script writing is also a component of this course.
