The general compulsory subjects are mandatory for all students regardless of which course is being taken and are as follows: Life STUDIES 1 hour per week (half year)
A study profiling the lives of significant Christian men and women who have excelled in their area of ministry.
CHRISTIAN FOUNDATIONS 2 hours per week.
A survey of the essential elements of the Christian Faith. This also includes reading and studying the Bible and meeting together for worship.
MAORI STUDIES 1 hour per week (half year)
A basic understanding of the Maori language and culture and it's relationship with Christianity is essential to any ministry operating within New Zealand. Course content includes basic whaikorero, mihi, karanga, waiata and haka.
RELATIONSHIP STUDIES1 hour per week.
A look at what makes for successful relationships as well as key issues for personal growth and development.
